For Linda Bradford, the birth of The Bubble and Squeak Soapery came as a result of a real and personal need more than 20 years ago. She originally started making handmade, organic soaps and shampoos for her husband and daughter, who reacted to the chemicals in commercial soaps, and then for the guests in her B&B.

“Our climate allows us to grow most of the organic botanicals used in the soaps in our sprawling garden on Mount Maxwell,” Linda says. “Our soaps and shampoos are 100% chemical-free, with gentle, essential oil fragrances.
