MOSS Vendor Profile – lavender & black

Located on the north end of Salt Spring Island, nestled between mature fir, arbutus and maple trees, and boasting photo-worthy views over Stuart Channel, the  lavender & black farm grows 10 different varieties of lavender. The dried and fresh lavender, culinary lavender buds for cooking and baking, and fragrant helichrysum and other aromatic plants form the base of the farm’s product line, including  essential oils that the owners Ben and Awatief distill themselves.

The therapudic oils and lavender combine to produce  100% natural fragrances, aromatherapy blends, soaps and honey under the alembic essences brand. All the products are vegan, and contain no artificial fragrances, colorants, or preservatives.
